travel with LD, both H1-B with AP
The whole process is pretty simple. Use the Citizen/Resident path (too many
in Visitor path), and after simple questions by an Asian officer, were
instructed to the Secondary INspection area. Maybe I am the primary 485
applicant, my ready documents were returned to me about 10 minutes after
they checked and stamped my materials; no more questions asked. LD was asked
by another officer some further questions, like when we did the last
fingerprint, and then the paperwork was done. The whole process lasted about
20 minutes.
Unlike what is seen in previous posts, we were asked to re-fill the I-94
form, to leave the boxes "where and when the visa was issued" blank.
